Be the Fan for your child To and From sporting events. Especially after a tough contest
Remove your rose-colored glasses when assessing your child’s talent– we love our children but stay objective
Trust your Coach and Officials
Don’t make every decision based on your child’s future in college or after
Self-police Fans that need it or report to local supervisor
Try to keep this spirit as your children get older

Know the Rules – If you’re going to ask officials about a call, they’re more likely to respond respectfully when you understand the rule!
Control your Fans and assistant Coaches
If you have a question, ask the official when they are close enough, never yell across the court
Exception to the one role rule: It is ok to be a Coach and Fan if, you’re being positive
